Common questions

Money, Quotes and Offers

Does the price change once you start?

No. The price you approve before we start is the price on the invoice. If something genuinely new turns up once the job's opened up, we pause and talk you through the change before going any further. There's no line item that appears without you knowing first.

What does the $65 off your first service cover?

It comes straight off your invoice on your first job with us, whatever that job turns out to be, from a dripping tap to a burst pipe. Mention it when you call and we'll apply it before you pay.

What ways can I pay?

Card or a bank transfer both work, taken once you've signed off on the written price. Nothing's charged before that approval happens.

Is the quote really free?

Yes, and it doesn't matter whether you go ahead with the work or not. Coming to look and giving you a fixed number costs nothing, that's the $0 call-out in practice.

Common questions

Who's Responsible for What

What is your lifetime labour warranty?

It's simple: whatever we install or repair, the workmanship is guaranteed for life, not a twelve-month window that quietly expires. Small job or large, the promise doesn't change.

Are your plumbers qualified to work on gas?

Yes. Plumbing and gas fitting are licensed separately in NSW, and our team carries both tickets, so a suspected leak gets handled properly rather than referred elsewhere.

Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?

Some things are safe, shutting the mains off, leaving the house for a gas smell. Actual repair work on pipes, drains or gas fittings needs a licensed plumber under NSW law, not a DIY fix.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, Lic #465156C, fully insured as well. Punch that number into verify.licence.nsw.gov.au if you'd rather confirm it yourself.

Common questions

Response, Timing and Booking

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

Yes, every day of the week including public holidays. The price and the service stay the same regardless of the date on the calendar.

Are you really available 24/7?

Yes, a real person answers day or night, not a machine or an answering service. Call (02) 9054 3067 whatever the hour and you'll get someone who can actually help.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

Broadly, anything actively damaging the property or leaving you without a basic service: water escaping somewhere it shouldn't, a complete loss of hot water, the sole toilet in the house unusable, or a gas smell. Cosmetic issues and minor drips are fine to schedule in at a time that suits you.

How do I book?

Call (02) 9054 3067 and talk it through with a real person, or use the contact form and we'll call you back. Either way you'll get a plumber arranged and a fixed price agreed before anything starts.

Common questions

Local to Hornsby

Do you take on local new builds and renovation work?

Yes, alongside emergency call-outs we handle renovation plumbing and new-build connections. It's not the focus of this site, but it's within scope if you ask.

Why do Hornsby's older homes get plumbing emergencies?

A lot of it comes down to age. Plenty of properties still run earthenware drains and galvanised supply pipe from the Federation years, and both corrode, crack or let tree roots in given enough decades.

How local are you, really?

We're through Hornsby and the surrounding streets on a genuinely regular run, not dispatched from across the city for each job. That's part of why response tends to be quicker here than a plumber covering all of Sydney.

What suburbs do you service around Hornsby?

Waitara, Asquith, Mount Colah, Normanhurst and Wahroonga, all on the same regular run as our Hornsby coverage. If you're unsure whether your street's included, just call and ask.
